No, just the opposite. My daughter gives me a reason to work as hard as I can to protect our world, our environment and our children. My daughter has been able to come to work with me at times, her father has taken her to work with him at times. And she sees that creating an environment and a world that we all can be proud of requires work. We include her opinions in our discussions, we answer her honestly about issues going on in the world and we make certain that she knows that she is a title holder to the world. As she turns eight she is a very responsible person when it comes to animals and their causes, my own personal cause which is the Congo and Women of the Congo. She makes copies for me, helps me get kids together to work on projects, spreads the word to all of her school friends about protecting animals, helping people, finding some reason to be kind to one another even if it's the school bully. I own my own business, as well as volunteer for many non profits who support causes that are dear to my heart. And my daughter inspires me to work harder for those changes we all want to see coming.
