On the day of The Women's Conference, many empowering conversations happen at the same time. This year, the conference created a team of volunteer bloggers to cover the breakout sessions live from the audience level. What was captured was an authentic perspective of once-in-a-lifetime conversations full of insight and inspiration. You can view a video shot by live blogger Christina Gagnier of the extroaordinary presentation, "Men We Love Who Use Their Voices."
During the session, one of our other live blogger Calley Nye wrote, "[Michael J. Fox said] he needs to recognize and face fear, you can't ignore it. He tried to when first diagnosed, but now he realizes he's afraid and that way you can measure it and deal with it. He's not 'me minus what was taken from me, it's me plus what it's given to me.'" The conversation also featured Laird Hamilton and Russell Simmons. Deborah Norville was the moderator.
Please note that we share this footage with you to offer a glimpse of what it was like to experience this conversation, but the video was shot in low light and the audio might be tough to understand. You can also read the "replay" of the live blogging coverage below.
