Re: Be Who You Are: How To Live An Authentic Life

Life Experience and trusting God's plan are the two top ways I have found to find who you truly are and live authentically.

In my 20's, I thought I had "the plan" and if I was focused, determined and smart, it would come with time. But as we all know now in our 40's, that's a great idea.

Now in my 40's, I realize having the 'dream' is only part of the formula for finding your true purpose. It's the picking yourself up after something you didn't expect that helps you find out what you really have inside. It's tough and gentle at the same time. Life experience has a melody all it's own and you have to pay attention to hear every note.

Here are other ways I have found to finally live authentically:
1. Believe in the unknown.
2. You have the capability to be something different if you choose it to be.
3. Prayer works.
4. Always speak the truth, even if you are scared what will happen next.
5. Become the way you wish the world to be.
6. Lay in the grass and just look up to the sky. It's amazing.
7. Laugh...... a lot.

Posted to: Be Who You Are: How To Live An Authentic Life

Re: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - when will there be HOPE?

Edna Lawrence is more correct than most researchers who generally seek drug "breakthroughs." The human cell was designed to deliver perfect health PROVIDED it is fed just 6 nutrients in a SPECIFIC form; and provided it is not fed
certain "foods" that are toxic to its well being. Fifty years ago, at Columbia's Goldwater Hospital it was determined that the cooking of animal/poultry proteins renders the protein hydrophobic i.e. unable to be absorbed. The consumption of such cooked proteins leads to various degenerative conditions of the spine and muscles.

If the DMD victim's diet is examined, the truth can be distilled and a corrective diet determined. I caution that this is not easy work, but it can be done with enough determination. First is to learn what nutrients the cells require. Let me know if Godbless is interested.

Posted to: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - when will there be HOPE?

Re: The effects of coffee

Few women ever ask themselves how coffee miraculously supplies them with a boost of energy. It is not the coffee. The truth is that one cup of coffee contains a potentially lethal dose of caffeine (120 milligrams) were it not for the adrenal gland that fires enough adrenaline to rid your body of the dangerous caffeine within two hours. This is WHY you are in the bathroom within two hours of ingestion.

There is a price and it is not breast cancer,; rather it is heart attack, simply because adrenaline is REQUIRED later in life to oxidize the heart muscle. Cup by cup you are diminishing your ability to produce adrenaline. This is one of the factors contributing to the rapidly rising incidence of heart attack among women over 40: the latte.

In addition, caffeine destroys the naturally occurring digestive enzymes in any raw fruit or vegetables sitting in the stomach, rendering the food difficult to absorb and even more difficult to eliminate, leading to digestive problems.

Posted to: The effects of coffee

This study shows that not only can coffee reduce the risk of breast cancer, but it can reduce your breast size:

http://www.bettyconfidential.com/ar/h/a/a02401.html

Posted to: The effects of coffee

It means being healthy, eating right, exercizing the body and mind, not abusing drugs or alcohol, and not being moody.

If you have PMS or GMS (Gentle Man's Syndrome), spend the day alone if you can OR with forgiving people ;)

Posted to: What does wellness mean to you?

Re: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - when will there be HOPE?

In my opinion, there's HOPE now. As a holistic health educator, I can honestly say that our body has the innate or God-given ability to heal itself when provided the proper whole food nutrition. In Chinese medicine, this is known as the Philosophy of Regeneration. Understand, there's no disease or physical imbalance that will not respond to the innate healing power of nature. We need only to provide our body with proper nourishment and trust that inner wisdom to do its job.

To learn more, visit: www.divinehealthsolutionsintl.com

Posted to: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - when will there be HOPE?
