Directions and Parking

FROM LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Take the San Diego Freeway (405) south to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

FROM LONG BEACH AIRPORT: Take Lakewood Boulevard south to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

FROM THE JOHN WAYNE (ORANGE COUNTY) AIRPORT: Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.

FROM SOUTHERN ORANGE COUNTY: Take the Santa Ana Freeway (5) north to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.

FROM NORTH ORANGE COUNTY AND THE VALLEYS: San Gabriel & Pomona Valleys take the Orange Freeway (57) or San Gabriel Freeway (605) to the Riverside Freeway (91) to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.

PARKING 

Due to the size of the Conference, we suggest that you share a ride whenever possible for your convenience.  Parking is available around the Civic Center area for a fee.

Attendee Information

In order to assure the best possible experience for you and the other participants, we ask that you plan ahead and follow a few fundamental guidelines.

Change to Conference Times

Please note, due to an exciting agenda, the conference times have been extended.  The morning session will now begin at 8:00 am, and we will conclude the day at 6:45 pm.

Badges

You will receive a Conference package after registering online for the event.  Included in this package is your Conference badge.  It is very important that you remember your badge as it is required for entrance to the Conference Center and is non-replaceable.  You must wear your badge at all times during the Conference.  Lanyards will be available at the entrance for your convenience.

Conference Bags

Conference Bags will be available for all participants to pick up in the Exhibit Hall on the day of the Conference beginning at 7:00am.  In order to pick up your Conference Bag, you must show your Conference Bag Tag (found on your admittance badge).  Please do not remove your Bag Tag before arriving at the conference, as we will not be able to give you a bag at that time.

Seating

Your seating assignment for the morning, lunch and afternoon sessions in the arena is indicated on your badge.  Breakout sessions are seated on a “first come, first served” basis.  

Note: If you are seated at tables on the main floor during the morning and lunch sessions, the tables will be removed for the afternoon session and sections A, B, C & D will have priority seating at the front of the arena.

What to Wear & Bring

Attendees generally wear business casual or casual attire.  Whatever you find comfortable will be appropriate.

During the day, you will be moving throughout the convention center, including up and down stairs.  For your convenience, please wear comfortable walking shoes and limit yourself to a moderately sized purse.  We will not have a bag check, so be sure to travel light.  You will receive a conference bag once you arrive for all of your program materials.

Breakfast & Lunch

The General Session begins in the Arena at 8:00 am.  Prior to this, a light continental breakfast will be available in the Exhibit Hall from 7:00 am – 8:00 am.

This years’ format includes a box lunch to be enjoyed at your seat during the lunch session in the Arena.  Please note that a vegetarian option is available; just ask the Usher in your Arena Section to assist you with the request.

Security & Inspections

As with all public gatherings, there will be Security present at the conference. All attendees and their belongings are subject to inspection.  For your convenience, please do not bring anything other than necessities for the day. Specific items that may be confiscated are weapons, signage of any type, outside food or beverages, video cameras and any other items Security feels are not appropriate.

For the enjoyment of all participants, inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and violators will be removed from the premises.

Do not leave personal items or conference bags anywhere in the convention center, including the Arena.  Unattended bags will be removed by security.
