Loma Linda University Medical Center has been the premier health care provider of the Inland Empire region for over 100 years. As the most preferred hospital for the Riverside and San Bernardino counties, we continue to build on our legacy of compassion and excellence in patient-centered care.
At Loma Linda University Medical Center our mission is to promote health and wholeness to our local community. We offer many educational and support programs to enrich the lives of our community residents. These programs include and active PossAbilities program which serves physically challenged individuals through tutoring, mentoring, nutrition and fitness education and on the job training. Our local Safe Kids program addresses the risks of childhood injuries through safety education and equipment distribution. Loma Linda University Medical Center networks with other public and private agencies to strengthen them and foster collaboration to improve community health.
At Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC), we have a unique understanding of a woman's physical, emotional and spiritual needs. That is why we have established specialized services at LLUMC with a woman's needs in mind, for every stage of her life. We are known for providing the highest-quality health care that attends to the body, mind and spirit. The Women's Conference shares our vision and understanding of women which is why Loma Linda University Medical Center is a proud supporter and sponsor of this years conference.
Loma Linda University Medical Center is currently forming an Institute for Community Partnerships. Our goal is to improve the coordination of all community outreach efforts and make sure we are following the best and more effective practices to improve the health of the community. This year specifically, we will be reaching out to local women with our first Speaking of Women's
Health event on November 14. Through this event, we will reach
over 600 women with important health information to empower and help them make better choices on how to care for themselves and their families.
