    Media Perpetuates Economic Problems

Negative news travels fast... even when it's not true. The media is using the economic issues to simply sell more of their magazines, web space and air time. Imagine what could happen if they would stop dramatizing the events? Here's an example - turn on a scary or dramatic movie - but turn the volume off. What's different? The end result doesn't change, but the anxiety, fear and uncertainty the directors create through music and tone is gone, leaving us to experience it based on our own reality - not the version being forced on us by an industry that profits from the unrest.

    Re: Media Perpetuates Economic Problems

I truly wish the media would interview inspiring people who think outside the box, and I also wish they would show everyone that there are alternative solutions.
I don't believe the media is causing the problems per se - these issues have been caused by greed and a system which has been top heavy and very unfair on humanity for centuries, however instead of news about pop stars and celebrities or trashy 'reality' (?) tv, perhaps it's time to make programs which inspire, educate and help people to solve some of the problems by encouraging everyone to think outside the box. At a time when so many billions of people are stressed and in strife, we need more practical answers which lie outside the old economic system.
