Online ticket registration is today, July 14, for The Women's Conference 2008, which will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at the Long Beach Convention Center. This year, we invite you to join us for not one, but two, days of empowerment and inspiration where you can,  "Be Who You Are...An Architect of Change."

Conference attendees can expect the same empowering experiences, fascinating speaker pairings, and once-in-a-lifetime conversations that have become the conference’s trademark under First Lady Maria Shriver’s leadership.

Our growing roster of over 50 speakers and particpants this year include Christiane Amanpour, Lance Armstrong, Cherie Blair, Bono, Warren Buffet, Sister Joan Chittister, Marian Wright Edelman, Sally Field, Michael J. Fox, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Caroline Kennedy, Heidi Klum, Jack Kornfield, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Matthews, Jenny McCarthy, Indra Nooyi, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Russell Simmons and Gloria Steinem.

We've even answered some of your requests for more book signings, networking, shopping, food and fun by adding a new pre-conference event called Night at The Village. Experience an evening for your Mind, your Body and your Soul with First Lady Maria Shriver and a conversation with Rachael Ray.

Watch the video below and see the memories we've made together as we embark on our fifth year here at The Women's Conference:

  • Thanks for posting- even though tickets are hard to get- I can't WAIT to go to the conference! What a thrill- 50 different ways to empower women in business and throughout the world! If you didn't get tickets, get on the waiting list, and then try the discussion boards, Craigslist and E-bay- you might find people who bought tickets but now can't attend.

  • It was impossible for me, as well. I tried since 9a.m. However, you can still go to the afternoon session and exhibition. Better than nothing!

  • I actually got in the esite at 9:00 AM, filled out my information, selected my seat, it was placed in my cart which gave me 15 minutes to continue and pay. I started the process immediately to check out and this is when the system just hung, then kicked me out. I could never get to that point again. I don't know how everyone else was able to comlete this.

  • Absolutely frustrating process - like everyone got kicked out of the system. Twice I got all the way through to credit card and bounced me right out again. I have followed this for weeks and weeks and thought for sure I would get a ticket.

  • Absolutely ridiculous. Already sold out and for over an hour the online registration was inaccessible.

  • Like everyone else, I've been trying to purchase tickets all morning. Now it's postponed until 11 am PDT. For my friends and I, attending this conference is the highlight of our year, and we've never missed a single conference, even long before Maria became First Lady. We LOVE how she's inproved this conference and look forward to it all year long. But each year it becomes increasingly difficult to secure tickets. I hope we'll be able to get tickets this year.

  • I totally agree.
I love going to this event.
Every year it becomes harder and harder to get tickets.
This online registration is a nightmare. Liked when you could call up and register..
Wonder if I will be able to get tickets this year.

  • It is impossible to get tickets these days. As a long time attendee I didn't get any last year either. This is really disappointing.
