The Women’s Conference will present Night at The Village. The Long Beach Convention Center’s exhibit hall will once again be transformed into over 160,000 square feet of inspiring interactive experiences, offering attendees the chance to meet, mix and mingle with the best -- the best speakers, the best shopping, the best chefs, and the best authors. Ten thousand women are expected to attend. This is a night to share with your girlfriends, your daughters, your mothers, or your colleagues away from work. It’s a night to be inspired, have fun and give back while you’re doing it. Of course, men are welcome too!

Night at The Village will feature:

  • A main stage program featuring inspirational talks from the country’s most sought after speakers including Maria Shriver, chef Paula Deen, fitness expert Jillian Michaels and additional surprise guests.
  • Book signings by an amazing list of NYT best-selling authors including Caroline Kennedy, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Sue Monk Kidd, Mario Lopez, Greg Mortenson, Maria Shriver and other best-selling writers.
  • “Stagettes” where you can hear Kathy Ireland, Seane Corn, Victoria Jackson and many others on topics relating to mind, body & spirit. Shops and entrepreneurs selling unique products, including clothing, jewelry, beauty and environmentally friendly items, along with wonderful gift ideas and great give-aways!
  • The Women’s Conference WE Programs. Get involved and join us in empowering women. Learn more about these programs in The Village.
  • Live music, food samples and fun gourmet cafes!

Doors open at 4pm. Tickets are $25.00 in advance, $30.00 at the door. Also available, tickets to both Night at The Village and Day of Transformation at $75.

Proceeds from Night at The Village benefit the WE Programs of The Women’s Conference.

What is the Night at The Village?

 

In an effort to give more women an opportunity to experience the transformative conference, The Women’s Conference is presenting the Night at The Village. The Village will transform the Long Beach Convention Center’s exhibit hall into over 160,000 square feet of interactive experiences, connecting women with information, shopping, food and fun.


When is the Night at The Village?

 

It’s Monday, October 26, 2009, the day before the Women’s Conference.  Doors open at 4 PM.


Where does the Night at The Village take place?

Who are the speakers and what time does the Main Stage program begin?

 

The Main Stage program begins at 6:30 PM. In addition, there will be stages throughout The Village that feature programming on food, fitness, health, lifestyle and finance.


Who does the Night at The Village recognize?

 

The Night at The Village will also reinforce the conference’s commitment to the city of Long Beach as it recognizes and rewards the work of domestic violence organization, WomenShelter of Long Beach. This is a party with a purpose!

The Village will be open all day on October 27 for attendees of The Women's Conference.
