$40 Afternoon Session/The Minerva Awards tickets and $25 Night at The Village tickets will be sold at the Pine Avenue entrance to the Long Beach Convention Center beginning at 3PM on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

What is the Night at The Village?

In an effort to give more women an opportunity to experience the transformative conference, The Women’s Conference has added a new event-- the “Night at The Village.” The village will transform the Long Beach Convention Center’s exhibit hall into over 160,000 square feet of interactive experiences, connecting women with information, shopping, food and fun.

When is the Night at The Village?

It’s October 21, 2008, the day before the Women’s Conference.  Doors open at 5pm.

Where does the Night at The Village take place?

The Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center’s Exhibit Halls A, B and C. 300 East Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, 90802.

What are some of the things I can experience at the Night at The Village?

  • Book signings by some of this country’s most popular authors, including Maria Shriver, Caroline Kennedy and Dr. Mehmet Oz.
  • Shop from an amazing array of vendors.
  • Learn about new products and services geared towards women.

Who are the speakers and what time does the Main Stage program begin?

We are so excited to announce that Rachael Ray will be our inaugural guest on the main stage. In addition, there will be stages throughout the village that feature programming on fashion, food and fitness. The main stage program begins at 6:30.

Who does the Night at The Village recognize?

The Night at The Village will also reinforce the conference’s commitment to the city of Long Beach as it recognizes and rewards the work of domestic violence organization, WomenShelter of Long Beach. This is a party with a purpose!
